Easy Weight Loss Diet Tips You Can Do Today!

Use these easy weight loss tips to make small changes in your daily diet choices and lose weight! Change how many times you eat per day, the bread you eat, what you drink and add some exercise. You get the jest.

Jump in anywhere on this Easy Weight Loss Diet Tips List. Pick the tips you feel you can live with for at least 28 days. It takes 28 days to change a habit.

1. Keep a food journal of what you eat this week. You'll be surprised to find you really don't eat that much of a variety of food.

2. Drop some obvious high calorie items from what you had on your list and substitute fruit.

3. Drink 8 oz. of water as many times today as you can today. If you can only drink 4 oz., do it.

4. Move your body today. Work up to 30 minutes to 1 hour every day. If you can only do 10 minutes....do it.

5. Share 1/2 of your meal with a friend.

6. Have at least one salad per day. McDonald's has one for $1 and the Newman's Low Fat Italian Dressing is great.

7. Have 1/2 cup Fiber One cereal every other day with 1/2 cup skim or reduced fat milk. Remember to drink plenty of water when you have fiber.

8. Try eating one item on your plate every hour. Stretch out one meal over 3 to 4 hours.

9. Never have fries and a burger together. Try either fries and a salad or the burger and a salad.

10. Try 1/2 of a frozen yogurt at Costco.

11. Try one of the Wonder Light Breads. 2 slices is equal to one white bread slice. Any light bread with 3 or more grams of fiber is better than plain white bread.

12. If you don't like skim milk try 2%. Later, if you can, drop to 1% milk. I can drink skim. Hubby likes whole milk. We compromised on 2% and reduce on something else.

13. Add more fiber to your diet. Fiber One has great products and recipes on their web site. www.fiberone.com.

14. Put your fork down between bites. Look around the room. Talk with your kids. Have another bite. Have a drink of water. Slow down your eating.

15. Find a no sugar drink you like. Crystal Lite is good. Aldi has their "Fit & Active" brand for $1.75. Tea. Water. Flavored water. Drop the Coke and Pepsi as much as you can or share 1/2 with a friend.

16. When you get a chocolate craving eat 12 chocolate chips one at a time. Let them melt in your mouth. I like to keep them in the freezer.

17. Eat smaller portions of your favorite high fat foods.

18. When you want ice cream try Weight Watcher's Giant Fudge Bars. They are great.

19. A cup of green grapes is very filling and you can stretch them out over an hour or two.

20. Work 2 fruit snacks, a salad and 3 vegetables into your daily routine.

21. Never skip a meal.

22. Always eat breakfast, even if it's cold pizza.
